We welcome you to gather in circle, to be held & supported in a safe sacred container.
Gathering to be heard & witnessed, honouring our losses, sadness’s or traumas.
Through exploring, tending to & sharing our griefs, we can better process unburden & empower ourselves.
Lightening the load of what we are carrying, assimilating all we hold.
Everything held within the circle will remain there, this is a confidential participation.
Kate Spohrer will be co facilitating the workshop, she is a funeral director, celebrant, teacher, grief counselor & Spiritual Companion trained by Dr William Bloom.

It can come to us for many reasons & through many forms; bereavement, breakdown of a relationship, miscarriage, divorce or separation, children leaving home, loss of a job, regrets, unmet expectations, ecological grief, menopause or even the longing for deeper meaning & a feeling of purpose in our lifes.
Sometimes we may not even know why or where such big feelings may have fallen from.
All grief is welcome.
All grief is a wound of love
Often the lack or loss of what could have been
An expression of love, simply a side of it not often discussed
When we allow grief to be held with tenderness & time, it is welcomed to move through the body
Gently transforming how it is held
When grief becomes over bearing, blocked or rejected, the heart trying to protect itself hides it away, storing it in the body
This armour of the heart, can create barriers in emotions flowing fully, including those of joy & love.
We are not taught to hold sacred space in our hearts for such big feelings, conditioning’s often show us to shy away.
Grief does not need to be fixed, made better, changed or forgotten.
It is after all an expression of the heart, an expression of life & all we experience.
What grief requires is tenderness, a space to be seen & accepted, to feel witnessed & loved.

An afternoon of practices that will support us in integrating our grief ~ Soothing meditation, sharing, listening, reflecting, healing, nourishing gentle movement, sound bath & beyond.
Guided meditation will welcome to you to be present & compassionate with all that arises in the heart, creating space for your emotions to be in motion ~ Moving & flowing through you, rather than becoming blocked.
Opportunity to share will remind us all of the shared humanity of loss.
You are invited to speak as much or as little as feels right for you.
Often when we reflect or speak about big feelings such as grief our body relives those emotions. Our body naturally wants to heal itself & the intelligence of the body is always trying to bring things back into harmony. But as we move through life & tensions get accumulated, there are often parts of the body that become cut off & forgotten. Nurturing movement will help to move energy through the body, helping to stop it from becoming re trapped & creating space for healing.
We aim for you to go away with new resources & a positive resolve to help you accommodate, adapt, adjust, reflect on or simply question your feelings of loss or lostness.

Gathering in circle as humans to share life’s great joys, mysteries & pains is ancient. It has happened across through out time & across different continents & cultures.
When we sit in circle we are all equal, we can hold & be held in a space of non judgement. In circle we are reminded we are never alone going through things.
