Below you will find the itinerary, sharing the locations we will travel from, through & to, some of the stops, guided tours & more.
Under this you will find more general info.

Each day will generally commence with a yoga practice & end with a relaxation session offering different modalities.
Days where there is more free time you can opt as a group & with your tour guide what you wish to explore, or simple enjoy some down time.


21st March Tuesday

Travel to Vietnam ~ Arrival at Hanoi airport – Hotel

Please note ~ Your travel flights & journey will take commence on March 20th if your leaving from UK

On arrival you will be collected from the airport & tranferred to your first hotel.
Our CEO ~ so our own tour guide will share a welcome meeting.
After settling we will gather to share an opening circle & ceremony between everyone embarking on this journey together.
Depending on energy levels & group preference we may go for a little exploration of Hanoi & eat out, or eat in hotel.
We will end the day with a short relaxation to ground us & leave us ready for bed & the tour to begin.

Day 2~ 22nd March Wednesday

Hanoi - Ha Long

Start the day yoga-ing in the sun, before breakfast.
For our first day we will enjoy a HaLong Bay cruise on a junk boat (traditional) with visits to a cave & an island lookout.

We will drive to Bai Chay harbour ~ the jumping off point for Ha Long Bay. See the thousands of islands with intricate cave systems rise dramatically from the waters. Sail past limestone karst mountains in the junk boat & stop to visit some of the islands & caves as you go. Marvel at massive limestone karst mountains jutting out of the water, creating unforgettable spectacular scenery. If conditions are right you can choose to swim, kayak or go cave exploring on one of the islands.
Indulge in fresh seafood meals with a variety of dishes to sample for both lunch & dinner on board as we cruise out over serene waters.
Be soothed by a relaxation session as you float on the water, leaving you ready to sleep deep drifting to sleep in a cozy.

Day 3 ~ 23rd March Thursday

Ha Long – Hue

Enjoy yoga, breakfast & lunch on board the junk boat before sailing back to the port & returning to Hanoi to catch your flight to Huế.
Relaxation session to end the day after dinner.

Day 4 ~ 24th March Friday

Hue

Start the day with yoga followed by breakfast & on to ~
Guided tour of the Imperial Citadel, Royal Tomb & Tien Mu Pagoda.

Explore Hue, once the imperial capital of Vietnam & UNESCO world heritage sight, as it awakens the senses with it’s culture, architecture, smells & sights. Visit Tien Mu, one of the tallest & perhaps, most elegant pagodas in Vietnam, at seven storeys high! Take a step back in time touring this historic temple - built more than 400 years ago along the north shore of the Perfume River. A site of many political protests.
See the walled fortress & former palace, which has many palaces, gateways, courtyards & gardens to meander within. The Forbidden Purple City (modelled on China's Forbidden City) was once home to the imperial family & was significantly damaged during the Vietnam War.
Visit the Royal Tombs along the Perfume River. Embracing the concept of Feng Shui, these tombs are extremely ornate & provide fantastic insight into the lives of the former rulers.

While in the city, try some local Hue specialties such as banh khoai (Hue savoury pancakes), banh bot loc boc tom thit (thin rice paper filled with meat and shrimp) & enjoy some of it’s amazing flavours.

End the day with a relaxation session.

Day 5 ~ 25th March Saturday

Hue - Hoi An

Start the day with yoga followed by breakfast & drive the Hai Van pass.
Cross the Hai Van Pass (weather permitting), with fantastic views in all directions, connecting to the amazing surroundings as we go. Before arriving to Hoi An in the afternoon. With three nights here, there's plenty of time to explore all this charming seaside town has to offer.

End the day with a relaxation session.

Day 6 ~ 26th March Sunday

Hoi An

Start the day with yoga followed by breakfast.

Enjoy a noodle making demonstration & lunch at Oodles of Noodles, a G Adventures-supported project. They make over 26 differen types of noodles! Run by our G for Good partners, STREETS International, this class was developed exclusively for G Adventures. Former street youth that are part of this hospitality training program, will help you prepare and cook a number of different types of noodles. This program helps these youth practice their English, increasing their skill-set and opportunities available to them in the tourism industry. Enjoy your yummy creations while learning more about the local cuisine and this initiative which empowers street youth through skills and employment training.

Enjoy free time to relax or immerse yourself in the area even more, perhaps visit the beach, temples or the shops. Take a river boat or hire a bike. With the opton to add more activities & or tours if you wish or simple visit these areas yourself.

End the day with a relaxation session.

Day 7 ~ 27th March Monday

Hoi An

Start the day with yoga followed by breakfast & enjoy the freedom to choose what you make of the day.

There's plenty to see & do in Hoi An, which is why we are spending several days here, so we can take it all in. Feel free to relax or try optional activities like learning about Vietnamese cuisine with a cooking class, trying your hand at making traditional lanterns or visit the ruins of My Son. Your CEO has more ideas if you need them. All these options will be discussed during the trip together with your group.

Day 8 ~ 28th March Tuesday

Hoi An - Arrivinf to Cambodia - Ho Chi Mingh City

Start the day with yoga followed by breakfast & continue your travels to Ho Chi Minh City via flight.
Land with time to experience this bustling city. Drive to Da Nang for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City, once the capital of South Vietnam & the country’s commercial centre. Start exploring the small alleys & busy streets, keeping an eye out for delicious local food stalls to enjoy.

End the day with a relaxation session.

Day 9 ~ 29th March Wednesday

Ho Chi Minh City

Start the day with yoga followed by breakfast & a guided tour of Cu Chi Tunnels in the morning.
Free time in the afternoon.

End the day with a relaxation session.

Day 10 ~ 30th March Thursday

Ho Chi Minh City

Start the day with yoga followed by breakfast & enjoy a boat cruise through the villages, islands & markets of the Mekong Delta & visit traditional candy factories.

The day Trip to Mekong Delta travels to where the mighty Mekong empties into the South China Sea. There board a small boat & navigate through narrow canals, witnessing local living along the way. Stop to see cottage industries & their products for which the area is famous: delicious, chewy coconut candy & rice cakes, how they are made & what they taste like. The day will be part in a private vehicle where you can take in the scenary of this special route.

End the day with a relaxation session.

Day 11 ~ 31st March Friday

Ho Chi Minh City - Phnom Penh

Start the day with yoga followed by breakfast, then travel on to the border crossing of Vietnam & Cambodia.

Climb aboard a bavet ~ Bus & enjoy the ride. You’ll cross the border by private bus & get to check another country off your bucket list. This day will include several hours of travel, where you can take in the landscapes your venturing through.
Once you have arrived to Phnom Penh, tour it’s busy streets on a cyclo ride to soak up the real vibe of the city. Passing stunning colonial buildings, the Royal Palace & more as you meander along the riverside roads.

End the day with a relaxation session.

Day 12 ~ 1st April Saturday

Phnom Penh

Start the day with yoga followed by breakfast & on to a guided tour of Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 Prison) & Choeung Ek (Killing Fields). Opt to visit the Royal Palace, the National Museum & or the Central Market.

Meet a local guide to learn more about the dark side of Cambodian history on a visit to Choeung Ek, the site of the infamous Killing Fields, a powerful memorial filled with mass graves.
Afterwards visit Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 Prison), the notorious Khmer Rouge prison where thousands of Cambodians perished & learn some of the sombre stories.
Enjoy a free afternoon to sightsee. Opt which of the city's many sights you explore: the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda (aka the temple of emerald buddhas) or the National Museum of culture, history & archeology.

End the day with a relaxation session.

Day 1 3 ~ 2nd April Sunday

Phnom Penh - Siem Reap

Start the day with yoga followed by breakfast & commence a beautiful drive through the Cambodian countryside with plenty of pit stops on this fairly long travel day.
End the day with a relaxation session.

Day 14 ~ 3rd April Monday

Siem Reap

Commence the day absorbing a sun rise over the massive Angkor temple complex with a guided tour.

Angkor is the former capital of the Khmer kingdom & one of the wonders of the archaeological world. Made up of an array of breath taking temples & sights. It holds many amazing things to take in, including the enigmatic Bayon within the walled city of Angkor Thom &Ta Prohm, also known as the 'Tomb Raider' temple. Spend two days exploring Angkor, as you guided by a local expert through the massive grounds of Angkor Wat. You'll have the opportunity to go in & out of the complex, resting at the hottest part of the day.

Enjoy a traditional meal of Khmer food for dinner at a G Adventures for Good-supported project.
End the day with a relaxation session.

Day 15 ~ 4th April Tuesday

Siem Reap

Start the day with yoga followed by breakfast & on to another day exploring more temples of Angkor with a tour guide with the option to add some extra visits to a local museum or the floating village.

End the day with a relaxation session.

Day 16 ~ 5th April Wednesday

Siem Reap - Return home

Your last yoga session will commence the day followed by breakfast & the last full day together taking it slow, with perhaps some added last explorations.
In the evening creating a closing ceremony & circle sharing to seal the energy of the journey together with your new friends.
End the day with a relaxation session.

Day 17 ~ 6th April Sunday

Travel to the airport ready to return home inspired & refreshed.
Flight back to UK.

~ MORE GENERAL INFO ~

~ YOGA & OFFERING INFO ~

All levels of experience welcome! New or accustomed to yoga, clear guidance & an array of levels & options will always be offered.
Everything we share is simply an invitation & guidance, where we welcome you to do whatever feels right for you

The morning yoga sessions will usually last around an hour to an hour & a half, depending on the time available to us & the fullness of that days itinerary.
Each morning will start with a grounding & long warm up to prepare the body for the practice & adventure ahead. The morning sharings will be a weaving together of guided movement, yoga flows, mudras, breathwork & pranyama, positive affirmations, a welcoming of creative expression & more.
The evening sessions will last anywhere between half an hour to an hour & a half depending on how long the day has been, the energy of the group & what is being shared. These wind down sessions will always include guided meditation & sound bath. Sometimes also offering Yoga Nidras, gentle movement & stretches, & at times including massage & oils ~ from self massage to guided partner work.
One evening session will be a cacao ceremony with elemental dance journey & sound bath under the stars.

If the day’s activities commence very early (there’s one sunrise outing) yoga may be at another time of day.
Please note with the trip being so long & so much going on, if the energy of the group prefers we may have a morning or evening ‘off’ sessions.

Each person is required to take their own yoga mat & any extra bits they like, such as eye pillow, cushion or blocks etc.
We are able to lend some bits out if anyone is missing anything, but you would be in charge of transporting it.

~ MEAL INFO ~

All breakfasts included (16), 3 lunches, 2 dinners.
Breakfasts are usually buffet style with plenty of choice on offer.
~ Food is a reasonable price over there, for other meals & we will get plenty of chances to experience their traditional cuisine!
~
Lunch & dinner costs on average are likely to be between £3-£10 per meal depending on what you go for.
~
PLEASE NOTE ~ Dietary requirements & allergies can be catered for, but when eating out, it is your responsibility to notify the places we eat.

~ DRINK INFO ~

Breakfasts will offer tea, coffee & juices, as well as usually offering filtered water we can fill our bottles with for the day.
If people are getting drinks at hotels, in most places (if not all) you will bne able to pay as & when you order & / or able to add them to a tab on your room number & will be reminded to pay this off before leaving the venue.
For those of you that enjoy alcohol, we are all on holiday & are happy for you to drink what you wish, so long as you behave(:
(We aren’t alcohol drinkers, but happy for people to enjoy it!)

~ ACCOMMODATION INFO ~

You will be in a twin room, unless you request otherwise & we have agreed on this. ~ If you are joining with a friend let us know & we can pair you together.
Fresh linen & towels provided at every stop.
Most, if not all stops will have wifi.

~ WEATHER & TEMPERATURE ~

At this time of year we expect to experience mainly sun filled blue skies. It will be warm to hot & unlikely to rain.
We will send a ‘idea’s of what to bring’ list to everyone who joins the trip.

~ MONEY INFO & TIPS ~

The cheapest way to exchange money for both countries is in the UK, so although most places out there will except card & you can change once you arrive, it is worth going out with some currency already. (If this feels right for you).
Our tour guide will take us to change some at the start of the trip & when needed. There may not be access to this option every day, depending where we are & go.

TIPS ~ We will create a kitty between the group at the start of trip to leave tips for the lovely staff that host us at our hotels & restaurants etc
We will probably ask for £20 from each of us at the start & then see if we need to top up on the last days.
At the end of the trip we will also do a collection for our tour guide.
For this we usually ask between £10 - £30 from each person, but it is up to you how much you give!

~ FLIGHT & TRAVEL INFO ~

Internal flights included in tour price & international ones can be added as an extra.
The luggage allowance for these is 20 kg check in & 7 kg hand luggage.
We can also help you book international flights through our tour provider ~ Prices for this may vary depending on when you book though, so we will discuss this via email if your hoping to join the trip.
~ This is makes it ATOL protected, plus ensures we are travelling together, is there’s availability.

All days with lots of travel, will include stops to stretch our legs, capture photos, get refreshments for those that want them.

International attendees welcome, as is meeting us there due to peoples own extended trips our yogaventure fits into.
